UPCOMING LUNCHEONS AND ACTIVITIES:

Luncheons and other social events held throughout the year will be announced via email to all residents on a timely basis. We invite everyone to come out and join us for social activities and business meetings. This offers all residents an opportunity to voice any concerns or questions you may have regarding our community, and become better acquainted with one another.

Food Trucks!

Something new came to Remington, starting in 2024, and continuing into 2025!

Food trucks will be parked at the Remington Estates common area on East 18th Terrace South throughout the summer from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., generally on the third Wednesday of each month. through September. Come and get some food to take home, or bring your lawn chairs and hang out with your neighbors. Watch your email for details about which trucks, and any possible scheduling changes. Food Truck Schedule:(Note: Food trucks were arranged by Remington Estates for the convenience of residents of both the Villas and Estates, as well as to the general public. This is a trial period, and the better the response, the better the food trucks!)

Remington Villas offers a Friendly, Casual Lifestyle

Remington Villas provides a friendly, casual lifestyle for all residents, and getting to know our neighbors is an important part of our community.  Lawn care, snow removal and trash pickup services are included in the HOA maintenance-provided services.

Residents look forward to monthly luncheons throughout the year at local restaurants planned by the Social Committee Chair at nearby restaurants throughout the year, an annual pot-luck picnic, and December Christmas luncheon (with Crazy Santa gift exchange). An occasional impromptu gathering may include a quick announcement to bring your lawn chairs, your favorite beverage and snacks, and join a group of neighbors at the southwest end of the cul-de-sac on E. 19th Terr. Ct. S., (affectionately known as "Merlot Circle,") where well-behaved pets and their humans are always welcome.

A Bunco group ("Ladies of Remington") has been so much fun for the "Ladies of Remington," and has been a great way to get acquainted with our neighbors, and build strong friendships. Ladies volunteer to sign up to host monthly parties and share their home. The hostess may provide the entire meal or share with a co-hostesses (e.g., hostess provides drinks and snacks, joined with one or two volunteer co-hostesses) to provide either a casual brunch or lunch. $5.00 prize money per person is divided between the players at the end of all of the rounds for "Most Buncos," "Most Wins," "Most Losses," etc. New players are welcome.

Also, we are looking for some creative ideas to include more of our neighbors, and include both ladies and gentlemen. We may consider a "Guess who is coming to dinner?" party! We would have a sign up sheet for those who would be willing to "host" two other couples, and those who would like to participate. For more information, contact the Communications Director.

If you are a Facebook user, please join us on our Facebook, members-only group page where we share information, photos, and ideas for making our community even better. Announcements relating to luncheons and other events or activities are generally sent via emai to residents and posted to oir Remington Villas Facebook Group page, as well as to the web site.
