HOMEOWNERS' DOCUMENTS
HOA Documents and Publications
Below is a list of information relating to the governing documents for the Remington Villas Homeowners' Association. A link to each of the documents (highlighted in red) is provided in a PDF format which may be viewed, downloaded and printed from your convenience. (Note: links are highlighted in red.) Most computers include the Adobe software to open and translate PDF files regardless of type of computer/operating system. If you have difficulty downloading any of the documents, please let me know via email to Paula Clyma.
As a requirement of the IDP (Independence Police Department) Neighborhood Watch program, a current listing of all of our homeowners with contact information is provided and made available to all residents. A quarterly newsletter was also created as a way of keeping our community informed and up-to-date on neighborhood activities and events. A Map of the Villas (password: "rvmap") (complements of Craig Warner) may be used for general identification purposes, or in the event of an emergency situation. Remington Villas is a member of the NWP program (Tom Peterman, Chair), and is a crime watch neighborhood. Knowing your neighbors and recognizing their vehicles is an important part of keeping our neighborhood safer. If you notice any unusual vehicles, or suspicious activity, it is recommended you first contact your neighbor to clarify the situation, prior to calling 9-1-1.
HOA BYLAWS & COVENANTS:
An HOA is required to adopt governing documents to ensure future restrictions and conformity with respect to the overall appearance and maintenance provisions of the development. We encourage all residents to review and become familiar with the HOA Bylaws, and Declaration of Covenants as well as your individual rights and responsibilities as a Remington Villas homeowner. Make sure you contact the Aesthetics Committee* before making any major renovations to the exterior of your home, or landscaping. (For contact information, please visit the Committees page on this web site.)
HOMEOWNERS' DIRECTORY:
The homeowners' directory is a listing of current members and is provided for your conveience by the HOA. As of January 2026, we are no longer providing the "booklet" format. You may view or download the most current directory from this web site in listing format only: Current Directory (rev. January 2026). Copies may be available at the Annual and Semi-Annual meetings. (Note: If you have any questions or need to update your contact information, please contact Lori Williams, Directory Editor.
The Independence Police Department Neighborhood Watch Program (NWP) recommends keeping a copy of the directory with a map of addresses near your phone for quick referece in case of an emergency, or if you notice any unusual activity. If there is any question, please contact your neighbor first before calling 9-1-1.
The online Directory is password protected for additional security (Villas#).
